iOS / Android Engineer – Part Time (as required)

As an iOS / Android engineer at Moo, you will be involved in the development efforts for our consumer-facing iOS / Android app. We have an app on iOS and Android and we plan to be launching our service quickly in Europe and further afield.

You will be responsible for making sure our app is beautiful, easy-to-use, with the ability to scale to end users. You’ll be working alone at the start on a part time project contingent basis, but the team is growing rapidly, and the role should become full time in due course.

Remote Friendly. You can work close to where you love to live or you can work from our office onsite in Amsterdam.

What you’ll be expected to do:

• Turn design assets into fully fledged features
• Work with our back end API and build familiarity with our database models
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability with proper unit testing and documentation
• Diligently track data so that we have a good insight into how to improve our products
• Guide major releases and monitor them for app crashes and regressions

About you:

• Preferably a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background, but experience in app design will count for a lot even without a degree.
• 2+ years experience in the industry on iOS / Android development
• Fluency in Swift is required
• Be amenable to a multi-paradigm and flexible development strategy
